Ezequiel
Ezequiel is a 13-year-old student in 3rd grade who lives with his two sisters, his three nieces, his nephew, and his brother-in-law. He is the youngest of seven siblings. At home, he helps by grinding corn, and his family is encouraging him to look for a job.
In school, Ezequiel says he likes all his subjects, but he especially enjoys English class because he hopes to travel far away when he grows up. One day, he would like to become a cook, and he is already good at cooking. He enjoys eating healthy food, especially fried chicken. In his free time, he goes to the park to relax his mind. He would like to improve his handwriting, write more neatly, and get better at multiplication and addition. Seeing the sun makes him happy, though he says the moon sometimes makes him feel a little sad. Ezequiel is thankful for Chispas of Change because it is a place where he can be himself, whether he is feeling sad or happy.
