Helen

Helen is a 10-year-old student in 2nd grade who lives with her mom, dad, sister, brother, and sister-in-law. She is the youngest of three siblings. Her dad stays at home because he is not well and needs care, and Helen helps by taking care of him and assisting her mom with cleaning.

At school, Math is her favorite subject because she believes it will help her in the future when she has a job. She hopes to become a teacher one day. Her favorite food is lasagna. In her free time, she enjoys studying Math and playing soccer. Helen is good at cleaning and handwashing her clothes, but she would like to learn how to control her anger better. Starting school has made her feel happy and hopeful because she is learning new things. Today, she is thankful because God gives her life.
