José is a 15-year-old student in 2nd grade who lives with his mom. He has one older sister who is 25 years old, and being with her makes him especially happy. Right now, he helps a little at home but is not working.

At school, his favorite subject is computers because he enjoys it and says it helps him focus. He also really likes painting and is very good at both painting and cooking. In his free time, he enjoys working on Chispas of Change projects with Mr. Lester. His favorite food is pasta. In the future, José would like to become a police officer or an animal investigator. He would like to improve his skills using power tools. He is thankful to be at Chispas and for having many friends who care about him.
