Mayerly

Mayerly is a 13-year-old student in 6th grade who lives with her parents, her sisters, and her grandmother. She has three siblings, and they are all older than she is. In the evenings, Mayerly goes out in the street to sell snacks with her mom to help provide for her family.

Her favorite subject is Math because it helps her calculate how much money to collect when she sells snacks. She is good at adding numbers and enjoys playing soccer in her free time. Mayerly hopes to become a doctor when she grows up. Her favorite food is stew. She would like to improve in her Language Arts class. Having her parents and grandmother alive gives her happiness and hope. Today, she is thankful because God gave her one more day of life.
