Nimsi

Nimsi is a 15-year-old student in 7th grade who lives with her mother and her two younger sisters. She helps her family by caring for her sisters, supporting them with homework, and sometimes going to buy food items so meals can be prepared.

Her favorite subject is Art because she enjoys drawing and painting, which are also skills she is especially good at. Nimsi hopes to become both a lawyer and a flight attendant. She wants to travel, see many places, and learn new languages, and she also wants to be a fair and honest lawyer because of her own experiences. Her favorite foods are barbecue chicken and pepián, a traditional Guatemalan dish. In her free time, she listens to music and draws. She would like to support her mother more, not get angry so easily, and build a better relationship with her family. Being with her mother and sisters makes her happy, and she finds hope in knowing she has eternal life with Jesus. Today, she is thankful that her mother is alive and for the support of her family.
