Yener

Yener is a 13-year-old student in 6th grade who lives with his mom and dad. He has two siblings, one older and one younger. At home, he helps his brother with electrical work.

His favorite subject is Math because he says he learns a lot from his teacher. Yener is deaf and does an excellent job of communicating with his classmates in Guatemalan Sign Language. Yener hopes to become a police officer one day. His favorite food is pizza, and in his free time he enjoys playing soccer. He is good at memorizing and would like to improve at making friends. Playing soccer makes him feel happy. Today, he is thankful for his family.
