José H.

José is a 7-year-old student in 1st grade who lives with his mom, his grandparents, and his three siblings, one older and two younger. He does not help with chores much right now, but he says helping his mom makes him feel happy.

At school, his favorite subject is Math, and he wants to get even better at it. When he grows up, he hopes to drive trucks. His favorite foods are pizza and hamburgers. In his free time, he enjoys playing tag and hide-and-seek. He is proud that he can cook eggs without oil. Today, he is thankful for the opportunity to come to school.
